The Bible uses the phrase the "Lord's day" only once in Revelation 1:10, so we know the Lord does have a special day. But there is not one single verse in the whole Bible that refers to Sunday as the "Lord's Day." However, the Bible does plainly identify the Sabbath as the Lord's Day.

"For the son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath day." Matthew 12:8,

"...The seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God..." Exodus 20:8-11,

"my holy day." Isaiah 58:13,

"The son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath" Mark 2:28.

The only day ever blessed by the Lord or claimed by Him as "His holy day" is the seventh day Sabbath.

Therefore "I was in the spirit on the Lord's day..." Revelation 1:10, must only refer to the seventh day Sabbath.
